Youth

Kate Salisbury, Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries, and her youth advisors are excited to announce that the Youth Group has taken up the parish-wide Bible Project challenge for this fall.

We will meet during our usual time on Sunday mornings, 10:15-11:00 a.m., to discuss the highlights of each week’s reading.

While Kate is away on maternity leave, the St. Jamesians (our 20s/30s group at St. James’) have been quick to sign-up to help lead the conversation each week. Parishioner Brad Whitehurst, teacher at the Nightingale-Bamford School, and the Rev. Ryan Fleenor, Lilly Fellow, will also help guide the conversation until Kate returns in November.

The fall line-up, so far, is:

Sept 25 – So, what is “the Bible” really?

Oct 2 – Creation (Genesis 1-3)

Oct 9 – Noah (Genesis 6-11)

Oct 16 – Abraham (Genesis 12-23)

Oct 23 – Jacob (Genesis 24-36)

Oct 30 – Joseph (Genesis 37 – Exodus 1)

Nov 6 – Moses, Burning Bush, Passover (Exodus 2-13)

Join us – Sundays, 10:15 a.m., Youth Room on the 3rd Floor of the Parish House.
